How are patients enrolled in outcomes collection?
Create a Participant and Enter their Initial Evaluation (IE) Date
The Outcomes cadence will start 48 hours prior to the initial evaluation date, meaning that your patient will receive an email indicating that an Assessment is available for them to complete.
- If the initial evaluation is scheduled within the 48 hour window, the Outcomes cadence will be sent at the time the case is created and the initial evaluation date is set.
Initial Evaluation
To see if a patient has an outstanding assessment, search for the participant, select the appropriate case, and review the Assessment section.
If they have completed the Intake Assessment, you will see the flag “Recently Completed” and their results will populate on the participant page under Assessments.
If they have not completed the Intake Assessment, you will see the flag “Assessment Due” located on the Participant’s page and the Outcomes Intake Assessment will be listed as Pending.
Provide the Assessment in Clinic
If the participant has not completed the Assessment at the time of Initial Evaluation, you have several options:
- Scan QR Code: the participant or your front desk staff can scan the QR code to complete the assessment on a mobile device or tablet
- Copy Link: your front desk staff can copy and paste the outcomes link into a new desktop window
- Send Reminder (Email or Text): your front desk staff resend outcomes notifications to the patient’s device
What to do if a Patient selects the incorrect Region of Injury, or provides incorrect responses to the questionnaires?
- In the case that an error occurs on the Intake Assessment, use the Action button next to the Outcomes Intake Assessment to select Mark as Error.
Enter the reason for the assessment being marked as Error.
After confirming that the assessment has been marked as Error, reassign the Outcomes Distribution by selecting the Action button at the top of the assessment section to Send Additional Assessment.
